A SOUVENIR DVD containing FULL SUMMARY OF THE HISTORY OF THE PHANEUF FAMILY was given to participants on 24 August.


People who had paid their (s) ticket (s) but could not attend the party also received this DVD in the mail.

Commemorative medals

As promised, the reserved medals were delivered. There are still some available. They are a very nice collector's item.


253 French medals and 253 medals English Tercentenary were manufactured by the company CFGL METALS INC, located at 7960 Avenue Marco Polo, Montreal , QC H1E 2S5 ( 514-727-9078 ) . They all measure 2 3/ 8'' diameter by more than 3 /16'' thick (greater than 3 /16'' contour central sculptures). Medal mold was established by an assembly of four pieces. Each medal is made in only one piece molding (centrifugal), in zinc and then covered with an antique brass finish and a transparent protective varnish. During the celebrations of August 24, 2013, many of these medals were sold to those who had made ​​the booking. Others were also able to procure it at the event. Those who had made ​​reservations but could not be present on August 24 have received theirs by mail.

Your genealogical information in exchange our family coat of arms

On your side, if you have any genealogical information about your family ancestors, do not hesitate to send them to the secretary of the committee. You will receive in exchange, copies of the family coat of arms. This is a desirable move for future generations.




The surplus of the Tercentenary and Ancestors’ Monument

As a result of the surplus of the Tercentenary of the Phaneuf Family - 2013 -, in 2014, after study of the proposed amounts/ available options, and bids received, the committee opted for the suggestion to complete our ancestors' Monument (located at the entrance of the cemetery of Saint-Antoine-sur-Richelieu); this, in the style of a bust representing our ancestors, Catherine Charpentier and Claude-Mathias Fanef.
